A wrist lock can be a submission technique where your opponent pulls your arm into yours. This forces their hand to touch you. The key is to use a combination of movements that make your wrist lock. For instance, you can use your left foot to push your opponent down, or you can move your right leg back and forth.

Another great wrist lock technique to use is the armbar. While you can attack from a top-position, it is harder to break an armbar. You can still make the move from either an omoplata, or a guard leading up to the top.
